Lawsuit filed in Vienna against the chairman of China’s 2008 Olympic Committee

A lawsuit was filed against the chairman of the 2008 Olympic Committee in Beijing at the Vienna state prosecutor’s office. The Austrian Falun Gong Association accuses him and three other top officials of “genocide and crimes against humanity”.

In addition to Liu Qi, the defendants include the former head of state and Party chief Jiang Zemin, as well as the Director and the Assistant Director of the “610 Office”, Li Lanqing and Luo Gan. According to Martin Schrott, a representative of the Falun Gong Association, the “610 Office” has been specifically created to persecute Falun Gong and has an organisation structure similar to the Gestapo.

It is alleged that members of the spiritual meditative group have been systematically persecuted in China. They are being tortured and their organs are being removed while they are still alive.
