United States: New England Area Fa Conference Successfully Held

The New England Area Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was held on October 7th, 2006 at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Falun Dafa practitioners from Boston Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine and states in the New England area, as well as Sweden gathered to share their experiences and understanding in validating Falun Dafa, clarifying the facts about Falun Gong, rescuing sentient beings and personal cultivation practice in recent years.

Twenty-three Western and Chinese practitioners shared their cultivation experience with the audience. Some speakers shared their cultivation experience in working in the media, some shared their cultivation experience in distributing the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and advising people to quit the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organisations, and some also shared their experience in clarifying the truth to doctors and governments during the World Transplant Congress this Summer in Boston. A practitioner from Maine and a new practitioner from Rhode Island shared their experiences of obtaining the Fa and letting go of attachments through Fa-study. A practitioner who was from India talked about his experience of obtaining the Fa and participating in organising this Fa conference. Another practitioner shared how her daughter and she overcame layers upon layers of difficulties to participate in the dance performance in the New Year Gala.

During the Fa conference, more than twenty young practitioners from Boston sang songs, including "Falun Dafa is Good" and "Coming For You." The children's pure innocent voices won warm applause from the audience. Two young practitioners made speeches at the conference.

The Fa conference successfully concluded at 5:00 p.m. All practitioners spent a wonderful day sharing based on the Fa and improving together.
