New Siberia city is in the middle of Russia and is part of Europe; it is the centre of politics, economy, culture and transportation in Siberia. The population numbers in the millions, there are also many Chinese people, but lots of them have not heard about the Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party (an editorial published by The Epoch Times newspaper) and Three withdrawals (from CCP related organisations). In order to help these Chinese people to understand about Falun Gong and the big wave of withdrawals from CCP, practitioners from neighbouring city Tomsk drove to different Chinese markets in New Siberia city to spread information materials and CDs in the early morning of 1st October 2006.

During the process, practitioners clearly felt that people in that place were waiting to hear the truth. Due to it being the first time to spread information there, it was most people's first time to see and hear things about the Nine Commentaries and withdrawals from CCP, some of them didn’t dare to take leaflets, and some of them took our materials at last although they had a bit of fear, also many of them came forward to ask for materials and CDs.

On the way, practitioners accidentally met a group of Chinese deputation, it seems that they were especially waiting for them; most members of the deputation have taken leaflets and CDs, and said that they would find a time to have a read, have a look and try to understand more.

The activity lasted for 3 hours, all the materials are finished. Afterwards, in order to let people in the new city know about Falun Dafa, practitioners contacted relevant bookshops so that our Falun Dafa books can be displayed on the table. The journey was in a hurry, there was no time to widely spread information, practitioners affirmed to each other that this is a certain task they will fulfil for next time.
