Veterans Abandoned by the Chinese Communist Party Begin to Practise Falun Dafa

We are veterans that have retired from the army. In January of 1979, the Chinese Communist Party started the war against Vietnam. We took part in the war at a very young age. We squatted in a cave with heavy humidity and were bitten by mosquitoes and bugs. No government officials ever experienced such hardship. When the war began, we fought bravely and even killed for our country. Some of us died, some were injured, and others now have many chronic diseases or have even become disabled. We are faced with all kinds of hardships and tragedies.

After the end of the war, we were forced to retire from the army. The saddest thing is that no one from the government has cared for us in the six years since we retired. We organised an appeal, and the government officials, very reluctantly, arranged jobs for us. We could not have imagined even in our wildest dreams that those brave soldiers who gave their sweat and blood would all be forced to retire early. I do not know the reason. We organised another appeal and asked for welfare. Even this small request was not honoured by our government. We cannot imagine who will sacrifice his or her life again for such a government. The youngest of our brave soldiers are nearly 50 years old. We devoted our entire youth as well as our blood to the "Party." Many of my colleagues have little hope for the future.

Fortunately, there is hope at the end of the road. My wife has been practising Falun Dafa for many years. She has shown me the road to take for the second half of my life, and she has helped me to follow the path of cultivation. A few days after I began to practise Falun Gong, some changes began taking place in my body. My sick body has been purified to some degree.

Recently, my wife brought home some materials that practitioners hand out to unveil the lies of the CCP. I realised after reading the material that merciful Master is saving all human beings. I think I should help save my former colleagues in the army as soon as possible.
