Two exhibitions were held in Egertorget square in Oslo, Norway, in July and August 2006. With an operating table and hospital personnel, the exhibition re-enacted the practice of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners taking place in China.

Falun Gong practitioners in Norway gave their live demonstration to make locals and tourists aware that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its regime are carrying out large scale organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners. This is the latest chapter in the genocide and the accompanying brutal persecution of Falun Gong which has been going on for seven years now. The activity of organ harvesting is at the same time a very lucrative business.

The Epoch Times newspaper broke the news about this subject. Among others, a Chinese woman revealed that her former husband and surgeon had removed Falun Gong practitioners' corneas, while they were still alive. More witnesses have later stepped forward. One former Chinese military doctor disclosed the fact that there were over thirty six camps in China which act as live organ banks for hospitals all over China.

These disclosures have further been confirmed in a report by David Kilgour (former member of the Canadian Parliament and Vice Minister) and David Matas (honourable Canadian human rights lawyer), who concluded that this atrocity has actually happened in China and is still going on.

The organisers had barely put up some posters when a lady came to them and said, "I believe what you show", "I believe it is true", "It is important what you do". She had herself experienced that some Norwegians did not believe the torture the Norwegian prisoners were exposed of in prison at Grini, during the Second World War, and had met many people that were surprised when she told them what her relative had experienced and what she had been told. Therefore she had no problem believing in the information about organ harvesting in China.

Many people, both Norwegians and tourists, signed the petition which asked the Chinese regime to stop this illegal and unethical practise, and which appealed to Norwegian governments to do what they can to stop this inhuman practise.
