On the afternoon of July 21st, three Falun Gong practitioners filed a complaint to sue the Chinese Communist Party Minister of Public Security Zhou Yongkang. The three complaints were officially accepted by the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris.

The French Falun Gong Association, on behalf of the three Falun Gong practitioners as the plaintiffs, filed a complaint with the Tribunal de Grande Instance de Paris to sue Zhou Yongkang, the CCP Minister of Public Security and State Council Member of China and the former CCP General Secretary of Sichuan Province. The complaint alleges that Zhou Yongkang bears direct responsibility for the crimes of torture against Falun Gong practitioners in China.

The three plaintiffs are Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Ying Dai, living in Norway, Mr. Heping Li and Ms. Zhengfang Mo, living in the UK. Ms. Dai was the wife of a multi millionaire in Shenzhen City. Due to practicing Falun Gong, she had been brutally tortured in a Chinese prison. She lost the sight in her left eye due to prolonged electric shocks to her temples. Ms. Zhengfang Mo was arrested in Beijing for appealing to the Beijing authorities for justice for Falun Gong. During the period of illegal detention, she was tortured by the police. At that time she was eight month pregnant. Mr. Heping Li had been imprisoned in Shiliping forced labour camp in Zhenjiang Province because he practiced Falun Gong. He was subjected to torture and persecution. Currently they live in Europe.
