On July 20th, 2006, Finnish Falun Gong practitioners gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy to protest against the seven year persecution of the Falun Gong. The inhumane persecution was launched by the Chinese Communist regime seven years ago against Falun Gong practitioners, who cultivate themselves according to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.

Practitioners displayed banners which read, “Falun Dafa is good,” and “Strongly Condemn the CCP Harvesting Organs from Living Falun Gong Practitioners for Sale and Cremating the Bodies.” Meanwhile, some of the practitioners handed Falun Gong leaflets and information to passersby and people who came to the Embassy to apply for visas. At the same time, a protest letter was read aloud to Finnish and Chinese people, to passers-by and the Embassy staff.

The protest letter read as follows:

Since July 20th, 1999, it has been seven years. In the past seven years, the CCP has inflicted an extremely horrifying and inhumane persecution on Falun Gong. Up until now, the verified number of people who have been persecuted to death is 3,000. Yet this is just the tip of the iceberg. Since this March, three witnesses have disclosed to the Epoch Times newspaper that the CCP is harvesting organs from living practitioners imprisoned in its labour camps. In the beginning of July, an independent investigation group, consisting of former director of the Asian Pacific Division of Canada’s Foreign Affairs Ministry and Member of Parliament, Mr. David Kilgour, and human rights lawyer, David Mates, released an independent report. The report further verified the existence of the horrifying crime, which is a fact we are reluctant to believe in.

We are unable to know the exact number of innocent people whose organs were removed when they were still alive. Under that enormous black curtain, how huge is the black market of trading organs? We have no detailed understanding of it. But we know that this is “an evil that has never happened on this planet before,” just as David Matas, one member of the Canadian independent investigation group, commented.

No words can depict evil of the brutal violence happening in China ruled by the Chinese Communist Regime. One of the investigation members pointed out that this kind of evil had never existed on earth. The persecution of Falun Gong is a crime against human nature, exactly a crime against humanity.

The persecution poses a challenge to individual human nature and also tests the bottom line of each person’s morality and conscience. This is not a political problem, nor is it a domestic problem as usually claimed by the CCP. The persecution launched by the state authorities is a crime against humanity, while the systematic murdering to harvest human organs is a direct challenge to human morality and conscience.

We protest against the CCP’s brutal violence. We advise each Chinese person with your remaining conscience and kindness to understand the CCP’s evil nature, to defect from the CCP’s organisations so as to choose for yourself a correct future position in the persecution. Meanwhile, we call on people from all walks of life and the international community to help stop the evildoing and end the persecution.
