Falun Gong practitioners in Montreal rallied and gave out copies of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in Chinatown from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on July 18th, 2006. They exposed the evil nature of the CCP, protested against the CCP's seven years of persecution of Falun Gong and called for all to strongly condemn the CCP's atrocities and to help end the inhuman persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Ms. Sun, host of the rally, exposed the CCP's crimes against Falun Gong practitioners in the past seven years. Huge numbers of Falun Gong practitioners have been illegally detained or thrown in forced labour camps. Innocent practitioners pursuing Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance were tortured. There have been 2,920 confirmed death cases.

In March of this year, the crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners was exposed. Former Canadian Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) David Kilgour and renowned human rights lawyer David Matas concluded from their independent investigation that the large-scale organ harvesting existed and was still going on.

Ms. Sun stressed that it was hard to imagine the level of the persecution with the CCP's cover-up. She hoped the international community and all kind people would strongly condemn the CCP for such genocidal atrocities and to help stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

Many people stopped to watch the rally and read the display, and most of them signed in support of Falun Gong. They were shocked by the atrocities and looked very sad. A young woman buried her head on her husband's shoulder after seeing the display. Some of them talked to Falun Gong practitioners for a long time to find out more information so that they could help.

Most Chinese read the display. Many read one by one and spent more than a half hour to finish all of them. An elderly Chinese Canadian read it aloud and shook his head as he read.

More Falun Gong practitioners joined the rally after work. Some distributed flyers. Some collected signatures. Some did exercises. They continued to tell people through a microphone about the persecution in Chinese, English and French.
