Since the Chinese Communist Party's inhumane and criminal practice of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and then cremating their bodies was exposed, the Falun Dafa Association and Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) founded "The Coalition To Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong On-site in China" on April 4th, 2006. This coalition calls for people from all walks of life and any organizations to form a united investigation group to gather possible leads for investigating illegal organ harvesting. We hope all kind-hearted people who have specific knowledge in this area will help us expose the inside stories of labor camps, prisons, and hospitals in China that are colluding with each other to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Together we are striving to end the persecution.

1. Investigation Lead: The First Hospital of Jilin University Performed More Than Twenty Organ Transplants During April and May 2006

Between April and the end of May of 2006, the First Hospital of Jilin University performed more than twenty organ transplants. Family members were organ donors for only two of the transplants. All other organ donors are unknown. At the gate of the First Hospital of Jilin University one sees prominently displayed announcements that Jilin University is recognized as a transplant center, and receives funds for such activities.

Professor Fu Yaowen was originally the director of the Organ Transplant Branch of China-Japan Union Hospital, Jilin University (the Third Hospital of the Medical University). The First Hospital of Jilin University funded the Organ Transplant Center, and brought Fu, several other doctors and the lead nurse from this branch on board. They have since then performed organ transplants.

We have received information that another kidney transplant was preformed at the Third Affiliated Hospital of Jilin University recently. According to the patient, more than ten transplants will be performed next week. There will be no more after July 1.

2. Investigation Lead: Suspicious Activities at Kangping County Detention Center in Liaoning

Witnesses reported that shortly after 9:00 a.m. on May 30th, 2006, Huanghai buses filled with people arrived at the Kangping County Detention Center in Liaoning Province. A police car was in the lead of the bus convoy. Police officers guarded the gate of the detention center. It is not known who was on the buses. Generally, when transferring a large number of prisoners, they are taken directly to the prison. It is unusual and very suspicious to have such a large number of people taken to the detention center.
