After international media disclosed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) live organ removal, the CCP regime did not investigate the case. On the contrary, hospitals in China inform patients, "Have surgery as soon as possible. Otherwise, there will be no more donor organs."

Re-enactment of the CCP's live organ removal

Taiwan News Week reported on June 5th that since March, the CCP's illegal live organ removal was exposed and attracted attention from the international community. Chen Shui-pien also called on the CCP to investigate, bring the criminals to justice, and prevent abuse of government power and violations of human rights.

CCP Covers Up the Facts

The report stated that the shocking live organ removal incident was first exposed on March 8th, 2006 by a Chinese reporter working in a TV station in Japan. The report pointed out that Liaoning Thrombosis Hospital of Chinese and Western Medicine, Sujiatun, Shenyang, Liaoning Province conducts live organ removal from detainees for organ transplantation and cremates their remains to destroy evidence. The detainees had not had court trials, and the entire process was not agreed-to by detainees and their family members. It is a severe human rights violation.

Facing the allegations of international media, the Beijing CCP regime kept silent for three weeks. On March 28th, a spokesperson from the CCP Foreign Ministry denied the allegation and invited the US Embassy in Beijing and Consulate in Shenyang to conduct an investigation. But they failed to find any evidence.

For this, Professor Ming Chu-cheng pointed out that when SARS was an epidemic in 2002, the World Health Organisation (WHO) dispatched a team to China to investigate. CCP officials ordered hospitals to transfer patients into vehicles and have the vehicles drive the streets to avoid being seen by WHO officials, to cover up the facts. The CCP lies to international community.

On April 18th, legislative council members Lai Ching-de, Tian Chiu-Chin, Huang Chao-hui and Wang Yu-ting held a joint press conference and supported the reenactment of CCP live organ removal to condemn the CCP atrocities. They also proposed resolution, and co-signed letters to UN, international human rights organization, and WHO to urge them to dispatch an investigation team to China. They called on Taiwan's people not become accomplices of inhuman live organ removal and trade.

Everyone Should Stand out to Condemn the CCP Atrocities

In addition, Professor Ming pointed out that there are thirty-six similar concentration camps in Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, Shandong, Liaoning, Guangdong, Hunan, etc. Falun Gong practitioners are detained in such camps.

Legislative council member Lai Ching-de said that the sources of organs for organ transplantation in mainland China is not consistent with human rights and medical ethics. Patients in Taiwan should evaluate the organ transplantation there and not accept medical services that violate human rights. Government and international medical circles should condemn the incidents that violate medical ethics.

He further stressed that the atrocities carried out by the CCP must be condemned by all parties, especially the media.
