[Note: The following is a shortened version of a longer and more detailed article that appeared on the Minghui.org website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net).]

The names of four Dafa practitioners detained at Shanxi Women's Forced Labour Camp are Jia Yuzhen, Li Runfang, Ma Yueying and Jin Jing. These practitioners have firmly resisted "reforming1" and are being savagely abused as a result. They are deprived of personal freedom and are only permitted four hours of sleep per day. They are constantly watched, and the guards order drug addicts to physically abuse and mentally torment them. The practitioners are forced to do slave labour for between 15 and 18 hours per day. They are forced to take drugs and go to hospitals when they are not ill. When the Dafa practitioners went on a hunger strike, the persecutors force-fed them. Later on, to force the four practitioners to "reform," they made the practitioners stay awake 24 hours a day, which caused some to suffer hearing loss and temporary blindness.

Note

1. "Reform or Transform" Implementation of brainwashing and torture in order to force a practitioner to renounce Falun Gong. (Variations: "reform", "transform", "reformed", "reforming", "transformed", "transforming", and "transformation")
