Two Finnish Practitioners Forcibly Deported, Media React Intensively

Two Finnish practitioners, Hannu Jarninen and Mikko Mattila, were rudely searched at a Beijing hotel where they resided. After they were illegally detained and their Falun Dafa music tapes and books confiscated, they were deported back to Finland on February 15.

Finnish TV Stations 1 and 3, Capital Daily and Evening News conducted detailled interviews with the two practitioners on February 15 and 16. The news agencies strongly condemned this outrageous behaviour and invited a Chinese practitioner to give a detailled account of the persecution against Chinese practitioners. TV1 also asked practitioners to perform a Falun Dafa exercise demonstration for its viewers.
