Since the persecution began over six years ago, Falun Gong practitioners in China and outside of China have distributed innumerable kinds of materials to expose the persecution for what it is. Where does the money for making the materials come from?

Recently, I called on a Falun Dafa practitioner in his sixties. He is disabled and living in a senior centre in a mountainous area of China. His body leans to its side, and it takes him a long time just to walk 100 meters. He has to lean on something when he walks, and it is extremely inconvenient for him.

One day his whole body developed oedema, and the situation was very dangerous. The chief of the senior centre informed his family to prepare his funeral affairs. But after several days, he fully recovered. People in the senior centre witnessed his amazing change and proclaimed that Falun Dafa is too wonderful! Since then, it seems as if the whole senior centre changed back to the period before the persecution started. From that time on, he has studied the Falun Gong teachings and practised the Falun Gong exercises publicly.

When it was summer, he bustled about by going to the mountain to collect twigs to weave small baskets. He could not carry the twigs on his back, so he dragged it back. After weaving the baskets, he could not go outside to sell them. He also has other old men help with the sales. If one basket is sold for three yuan, he gives the other old men who sold it one yuan.

In this manner, by selling baskets and living frugally, he accumulated 200 yuan (500 yuan is equal to the average monthly income of an urban worker in China) to make some materials. Other fellow practitioners are aware that it is not easy for him to get this money, so they spend it wisely and frugally so as to make sure that more and more people can learnt the truth about the persecution.
