Ms. Liu Xingyun, a 65-year-old practitioner from Tanghai County, Hebei Province, was a former Falun Gong volunteer coordinator. After the persecution began in July 1999, she suffered harassment and detention. On November 17th 2005, Li Taizhong and Sun Jingsen from the political and security section of the police station and the township police station visited Ms. Liu. She passed away the next day.

Ms. Liu Xingyun started to practise Dafa in 1995. After the persecution of Falun Dafa began, she was brutally harassed. In December 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. She was arrested and detained at Tanghai County Detention Centre. Since she could not study the Falun Dafa books or do the exercises, she became unhealthy. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials released her after they had extorted 3,000 yuan1 from her family.

After she returned home, through practising Dafa again, she regained her health. She was arrested again and sent to the detention centre for further persecution. Ms. Liu's health condition declined again, and she was again released. The authorities wanted to blackmail her, but they did not succeed. They had to deduct her "fine" from her salary.

Ms. Liu Xingyun's home was monitored for a long time. From 2001 to 2003, the authorities arrested three practitioners who went to visit her. This was a severe mental blow. Constant harassment from the Tanghai County police station, the township police station, and Hu Yuhua, who is the principal of the so-called '"transformation2" school,' led over ten people to ransack her home. She resisted arrest at the risk of her life, which caused her blood pressure to spike, so they had to give up.

Due to long-term persecution, in October 2005, Ms. Liu appeared to have heart and kidney failure and other symptoms, and her life was in danger. Since so many people visited her, the authorities became suspicious. On November 17th, pretending to visit Ms. Liu, Li Taizhong, the political and security section head from the police station; Sun Jingsen, the assistant section head; and a person from the township police station went to her home and harassed her family. On November 18th, she passed away.

Hu Yuhua, the principal of the so-called "transformation school" in Tanghai County, Hebei Province, has been arresting and persecuting practitioners for the past five years. After he tortured them to near insanity, he would pretend to have so-called heart-to-heart talks with the practitioners and tried to obtain their trust and their families' trust. What's even more immoral was that Hu Yuhua secretly watched female practitioners taking baths and had illicit sexual relations with three women who were "transformed" after the brainwashing session. One of his illicit sexual relationships resulted in an abortion. Hu Yuhua behaviour remains unchecked.
