Recently, a few employees from the Tianjin Iron Plant in She County, Hebei Province, colluded with the county police to illegally search the homes of a number of Falun Dafa practitioners. Three practitioners were sentenced to forced labour. Two of these practitioners, Ms. Song Xiaoxia and Ms. Song Liqin, have been made extremely weak from torture, yet they have not been released.

Information on the three Dafa practitioners sentenced to forced labour by the She County Police:

Mr. Liu Chaofeng, in his 30s, was sent to the Tianjin Labour Camp for two years by the Iron Plant; Ms. Song Xiaoxia, 42, was sent to the Tianjin Labour Camp for eight months; Ms. Song Liqin, 39, was sent to Tianjin and persecuted there for three months.

Currently, Ms. Song Xiaoxia and Ms. Song Liqin are in such bad physical condition due to torture that the forced labour camps won't even accept them, yet they are still being kept in police custody in Handan City.

Since former president Jiang Zemin's political regime started suppressing Falun Dafa in 1999, the Tianjin Iron Plant has continuously harassed and persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners in various ways. Their persecution tactics include offering heavy financial incentives for those who persecute practitioners, illegal tracking of practitioners, eavesdropping, camera monitoring, and other surveillance. As a result, many practitioners were unjustly detained or sentenced. The police in She County once threw female practitioners into male prison cells for 20 days. In addition, they once arrested four practitioners, and among them, one female practitioner has become paralysed due to torture and still lies motionless in the hospital today.
