Australia: Seen and Heard While on Vacation in Sydney

This time of year people are busy shopping for gifts, sending New Year's greeting cards and Christmas cards to friends and relatives, and enjoying family reunions at dinner tables. During this time there is also a group of people persevering in the burning sun, in the morning and at dusk, at the Sydney Opera House, at Mrs. Macquarie's Chair, in Chinatown, and in front of the Chinese Consulate, peacefully handing out leaflets, and explaining to passersby and tourists about the appalling persecution happening in China. No matter what attitudes the listeners hold, these people maintain kind and peaceful states of mind, and many passersby are deeply moved. From time to time, I have hear such dialogues:

A: You disgrace the Chinese people! You don't love the county, and you're political.

B: We truly love China. Loving China does not mean loving the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). We aren't involved in politics, we only tell people of the persecution taking place in China.

A: How much money are you paid for a day?

B: We do not get one penny, and we gathered our own money to make these materials. Over the six years of persecution of Falun Gong, so many people have come out to clarify the truth, even the richest boss in the world cannot afford to pay so many people.

A: You've worked hard! You will get sunburn in the scorching sun.

B: Thank you for your kindness. We'll go on clarifying the truth all the way until the persecution in China is stopped.

A: My family has suffered a lot due to the malevolent Communist Party's persecution. Please help me quit the CCP.

B: Ok, I can help you, you can use an alias if you wish.

A: I'm not afraid, go ahead and use my real name.

A: May I have a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party? I'll bring it back to China for my friends and relatives to read.

B: That's great, thank you. Good luck to you!

At tourist sites, tourists in buses have accepted truth clarification materials.

In front of the Chinese Consulate, a gentleman who went to apply for a visa took a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party before entering the consulate, but the guard blocked his way and said, "You can't enter with this." The man returned the book to the person who handed out the Nine Commentaries, and said, "Please help me keep it, I'll fetch it later." When he finished his business and came out of the consulate, he said, "Please give the Nine Commentaries back to me."

...

This is a group of kind and precious people. They are the hope of China. They have been, day by day, year by year, distributing leaflets, explaining to every passerby about the persecution happening in China ... Their kindness has gradually woken up many Chinese people who were apathetic, and people have awakened and learned about the truth.

Who are they? They are a group of good people who follow the principle of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." They are Falun Gong practitioners, and good people whom the Chinese Communist regime has persecuted for the last six years.
