Wuhan City, Hubei Province

It has been two years since the brainwashing class first illegally opened in Wuhan City. In these two years, the officials at this class have applied all kinds of rogue torturing methods to persecute practitioners. The number of practitioners who have been tortured is uncountable.
In December 2001, policeman Wang Jinde violently beat practitioner Yan Kejian. As a result, Yan Kejian's face, nose and ears were bleeding and swollen, and he could not sleep lying down. At that time, the vice-secretary of the Hankou District's Political and Judiciary Committee, Xie, didn’t stop the policeman; instead, he personally grabbed and beat practitioners Zeng Xianmei and Zhou Ailin.

On January 3, 2002, leaders Lu and He Jie, policeman Feng, officer Guo from the Hankou Forest Bureau and guard Wang beat female practitioner Chen Lin. Guo first slapped Ms. Chen Lin's face many times. Then Feng and Wang beat Chen Lin's lower back and vital organs to the point that Ms. Chen Lin almost lost consciousness. These brutal ruffians still wouldn't give up. Leaders Lu and He Jie dragged Ms. Chen to a solitary confinement cell to continuously beat her so severely that she vomited blood. She was unable to eat anything for four or five days.

The officials in this class also forced the practitioner's relatives to write the so-called "guarantees" [to give up Falun Gong, to refrain from associating with other practitioners and refrain from going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa]. The food provided by the class officials was very bad. Practitioners were fed boiled rotten cabbage and carrots all year long. Practitioners' relatives were not allowed to send in their own food.
