Ms. Li died in her 70s. She lived in Hancheng City, Shaanxi Province. After she started practising Falun Gong in 1998, the many illnesses she suffered from disappeared without medical treatment. After the government of China started its persecution of Falun Gong on July 20th 1999, the so-called law enforcement officers often harassed her at her home. Her husband is a retired leader in the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). He fell prey to the CCP's poisonous lies about Falun Gong, so he took Falun Gong books from her and forbade her from practising Falun Gong. Each time Ms. Li saw hate propaganda broadcast on television she was brought to tears. She would exclaim, "Falun Gong is so wonderful! Why won't the CCP allow us to practise it?" After Ms. Li witnessed Falun Gong practitioners around her being arrested and tortured, she passed away in grief and anguish.

Ms. Meng died in her 70s. Her family works for the Magouqu Mine of the Mining Bureau in Hancheng City, Shaanxi Province. Her husband is the secretary of a branch organisation. In 1998, Ms. Meng and her husband started practising Falun Gong. Then the diabetes and hypertension that had bothered her for many years miraculously disappeared. After the CCP started its persecution of Falun Gong the local police often harassed the couple at their home and confiscated their Falun Gong books. As a result, Ms. Meng's previous illnesses surfaced again in 2002 and claimed her life.

Mr. Liu Jinbao died at the age of 75. He was a leader at the Hancheng Mining Bureau and a permanent member of the Party Committee in one of the CCP's organisations. He used to suffer from a liver problem and other ailments. After he started practising Falun Gong in 1997, his health was restored. After the CCP started its persecution of Falun Gong, people from the Party Committee of Hancheng Mining Bureau often harassed Mr. Liu at home and forced him to give up practising Falun Gong. As a result, his liver disease surfaced again at the end of 2003. He passed away in the spring of 2004.

Ms. Wang Chunling died in her 50s. She was a worker at the Hancheng Mining Bureau factory. She used to suffer from many types of illness and was very frail. After she started practising Falun Gong in 1998, she quickly regained her health. She was even able to carry a sack of flour up three floors. In 2001, the CCP staged the self-immolation on Tiananmen Square and fooled her husband. He forced Ms. Wang to give up practising Falun Gong and started cursing and beating her up. Her physical and mental health was severely damaged. When Ms. Wang Chunling was on her way to her sister's home in June 2004, she had a heart attack and died. Three months later, her husband fell into the Yellow River while fishing and drowned.

Ms. Xue Wengu died at the age of 59. She was a clerk in the Production Department of Magouqu Mine of the Hancheng Mining Bureau. She used to have heart disease and hypertension. Since she started practising Falun Gong in 1998, she became healthy after a short time. After the CCP started its persecution of Falun Gong, Ms. Xue's family and relatives fell prey to the lies about Falun Gong and made her give up practising Falun Gong. As a result, her previous illnesses returned. Ms. Xue was repeatedly checked into the hospital before she passed away in the spring of 2004.

Mr. Yao died at the age of 67. He was from Hancheng City, Shaanxi Province. He used to suffer from enteritis and several other illnesses. He had three operations before he started practising Falun Gong in 1996. Then he became perfectly healthy. After the CCP started persecuting Falun Gong, his family was poisoned by the CCP hate campaign and became opposed to his practise of Falun Gong. As a result, Mr. Yao passed away in the summer of 2001.
