On June 21st and 22nd, the annual German-Chinese Rule-of-Law Dialogue was held at Hamburg’s Chamber of Commerce facilities. High-level German and Chinese governmental officials arrived for this meeting. The Ministers for Justice of both countries were also in attendance.

Falun Gong practitioners appealed outside the entrance to the Chamber of Commerce. They called on China to stop the abuse of Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights and to put an end to the persecution against the peaceful practice. At the same time, they wanted to remind the participating politicians that there are no human rights in China for Falun Gong and that human rights are the fundamental rights of a constitutional state.

Although the weather was very hot, practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and distributed leaflets to passers-by. Many people expressed their support for China’s persecuted practitioners.
