On the 26th of June 2005, Belgian practitioners held activities outside the Chinese Embassy to protest against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for the killing of Falun Gong practitioner Gao Rongrong. Practitioners held banners reading “Bring the Murderers of Gao Rongrong to Justice” and “CCP: Stop Persecuting Falun Gong Immediately”.

Gao Rongrong, who was brutally killed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) last month, suffered terribly before her death. Her face was continuously shocked with high voltage batons to for seven hours by Police officers Tang Yuebao and Jiang Shaohua. As a result, her face was horribly disfigured. When the news and the before and after photos reached the outside world, the world's people were taken aback. Faced with the worldwide condemnation, not only did the CCP not change its brutal torture policy, they went even further and killed Gao Rongrong. Such blatant disregard for the law and human rights is an open challenge to the dignity and conscience for the whole of humanity.

For six years, in order to eliminate Falun Gong, the CCP has used an entire nation’s resources to carry out the former CCP leader Jiang Zemin’s policy of “Defaming their reputation”, “Bankrupting them financially” and “Destroying them physically”. Tens of millions of Falun Gong practitioners in China have been facing the Chinese regime’s constant threats, brainwashing, kidnapping, the fear of and being detained in forced labour camps, prisons, mental hospitals and extreme torture. The whole purpose of this brutal and nation-wide persecution is to force Falun Gong practitioners to give up their belief in, “Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance”.

Practitioners from different Belgian cities participated in the activities and some even came over from Holland. Throughout the afternoon, the practitioners demonstrated Falun Gong exercises. From time to time, passing-by vehicles blew their horns to show their support for the protest.

The activity also received positive support from local police. The police granted special permission in a very short time after they received practitioners’ application to hold the activity. The police on duty at the embassy had also learned about Gao Rongrong being tortured to death and many other cases of persecution. A policeman earnestly read the French version the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party” (a document listing the CCP’s crimes and published by international newspaper The Epoch Times) and another policeman expressed that he would definitely study the “Nine Commentaries” carefully to further understand the evil nature of the CCP.
