On the 4th of June, Swiss Falun Gong practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition in Luzern and collected petition signatures calling for the rescue of Miss Qiu Minghua, who is illegally imprisoned in China for practising Falun Gong and is the mother of a practitioner who is studying in Switzerland.

On 8th June, a Swiss Parliament meeting was held and Falun Gong practitioners held another anti-torture exhibition and collected signatures in the busy streets nearby. According to Falun Dafa website Clearwisdom.net, the persecution of Falun Gong in Mainland China got a lot worse recently, so Falun Gong practitioners urged the parliament members gathered in Bern to do all they can to help stop the persecution.

The simulations of torture shocked many people. A child pointed at the practitioner playing a Chinese Communist Party policeman and said angrily, “Quickly ring for the police to take the rascal away. How can he torture the woman like that?” People were shocked when they viewed the pictures of the torture, and listened to practitioners’ statements about the persecution in China. Some of them shed tears. Many people had already got the leaflets and signed their names on the petition.

The practitioners told people how the signatures are for a petition to rescue a Swiss university student’s mother, who has been illegally detained for over six months just for being a good person by following the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance. Many people signed their names, in the hope Miss Qiu could be freed soon and at the same time that the brutal persecution would soon be ended.
