Dafa Practitioner Dies from Brutal Beating by Police

GU Chenghai, male, 46 years old, was a resident in Xiahuayuan City, Hebei Province. He began to practise Falun Gong in 1996. Because he bravely validated Falun Dafa amidst the persecution, he was arrested and thrown into jail. While in detention, he was subjected to various tortures.

Seeing that he was tortured to near death, the police released him. By the time of his release, Gu had lost the capability to live and move around by himself. His face was burned. His back and legs were covered with numerous wounds and bruises. His left leg was broken. His feet were burned by pitch and were swollen.

Gu Chenghai died soon after his release due to the freezing weather and lack of medical care.
