Editors' Note: Each time we publish news of this nature, we do so with heavy hearts. These people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by the Jiang regime, they were pushed into persecuting Dafa disciples. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they have sealed their own fates and inevitably faced karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for Jiang's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different.

On April 7th, 2005, the third day after the Chinese traditional Qingming Festival, residents in Hubei province, Huanggang City were discussing how Wang Kewu had died.

Wang Kewu, 53, was the second person who took on the director's role at the Huanggang City 610 Office (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems). He was the 610 office director for three years and followed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to persecute Falun Gong and its practitioners. He developed liver cancer in the second year, and he was in the hospital for nearly one year. During that hospital stay, practitioners tried to clarify the truth to him and persuade him that he should no longer persecute Falun Gong, but he wouldn't consider the matter.

On February 13th of this year, Zhang Shiming, who was the first Huanggang City 610 office director before Wang took office, and also vice secretary general of the city's Party committee, died of heart disease. Prior to his death he also relentlessly persecuted Falun Gong practitioners.

Two months following Zhang's death, Wang Kewu died as well.

Now 610 Office Deputy Director Song Minghui is in charge of the persecution, and he lives in fear all day long. People here are saying that they deserved their fates as the result of persecuting Falun Gong. Some say that good deeds are rewarded and bad ones punished because nobody can escape divine justice. Some officials from the Chinese Communist Party are also discussing this. They say, "It happened just like this. Is it only coincidence? These who work in 610 can't last long."
