From the 17th to the 20th of March, Falun Gong practitioners took part in a Mind, Body and Spirit exhibition held in the elegant premises of the Royal Dublin Society.

Falun Gong first took part in this exhibition in 1998. In the following two years, many Irish people learned about Falun Gong through this exhibition and some even began to practise.

Later, after the Chinese Communist Party began to ruthlessly persecute Falun Gong, Irish practitioners stopped participating in the annual health exhibition due to a lack of manpower. They spent more time and energy telling people the truth about the persecution in other ways. This spring, after a practitioner's suggestion, we applied for a booth from the organiser. The organiser was friendly to us and gave us much support and assistance. He was very glad to hear that we wished to join the exhibition. He sent us the application form and related materials right way and promised to give us extra space.

In the evening of the 16th of March, we were filled with complicated feelings when we came to the exhibition centre that we missed for five years. We met with the organiser who greeted us cordially. He showed us the layout of this year's exhibition. The Falun Dafa stall was placed in the most prominent spot. Practitioners displayed peace and tranquillity in their meditation.

We overcame many difficulties and set up our stall. Between the pictures of the Falun emblem and the five exercises, we also demonstrated paintings created by practitioners. The information on the posters included an introduction to the Falun Gong exercises, the facts about the brutal prosecution, support from governments and non-governmental organisations, and the legal actions to bring the persecutors of Falun Gong to justice.

This year, with the support of the organiser, we demonstrated the five exercises as well as the Chinese Fan Dance and waist drum performances. These traditional Chinese performances brought a nice surprise to the organiser and the audience. They showed admiration for our hard work.

Those who visited the Falun Gong stall and asked questions showed that they had a better understanding of Falun Gong than five years ago. Many people bought the English version of the introductory text Falun Gong and the main book of Falun Gong practice Zhuan Falun, as well as exercise demonstration tapes and DVDs. In a few days, over six thousand leaflets were given out.
