Falun Gong Activities in the Chinese Community of Pulato, Italy

Pulato is one of the districts in Italy where most of the Chinese people live. Falun Gong practitioners in all parts of Italy usually came here to clarify the truth [about the persecution of Falun Dafa] to their Chinese compatriots at the weekends.

On one day it was severely cold, after an outburst of heavy snow that covered the whole of Italy. No sooner were the exhibits unfolded than a few Chinese came with cameras and video equipment to take pictures of the exercise. It was quite odd that they deliberately shot close-ups of practitioners’ faces. Practitioners also shot the scenes of those Chinese taking pictures of us. After the shooting of photographs, they introduced themselves as reporters of an overseas European newspaper. Showing an avid interest, they also accepted the materials that clarified the truth about Falun Dafa provided by practitioners. Many of the practitioners who took part in the activities were new practitioners. After they realised the importance of clarifying the truth to the Chinese people, they voluntarily took part in the activities. Amongst them were three child practitioners.

Through various forms of clarifying the truth, we did see lots of Chinese change their original views [about Falun Gong]. Some people even asked to learn the exercises. Many Italians stopped to watch. Drivers and passengers waved their greetings, expressing their support. Reporters from local and national news also came to the scene to interview us.
