At noon on February 27, 2005, nearly 2,000 Falun Gong practitioners from across the world held a grand parade with the theme "Journey of Fa Rectification" in San Francisco. Among all the groups in the parade, the "Global Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice" group attracted the most attention from the spectators.

Organiser of the "Global Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice" group, Mr. Liu, said: "By February 1, 2005, for his crimes against humanity, torture and genocide, practitioners have sued Jiang Zemin in 15 countries; Jiang and his followers, such as Luo Gan, Zeng Qinghong, Liu Jing, Zhou Yongkang and Chen Zhili, who have been actively involved in the persecution, have been sued in 30 countries."

Mr. Liu said: "Today is a special day. We want to tell the mainstream American society and Chinese communities that the world is putting Jiang Zemin on trial. In the past, overseas Chinese as well as Chinese in China thought that 'Global Bring Jiang to Justice' was just a slogan. Today, they will know that the persecution spearheaded by Jiang violated the laws of China, the U.S. and the entire international community, and Jiang will be brought to justice. Many lawyers in the U.S. and China are closely watching the lawsuits against Jiang, which represent the right direction in order to safeguard human rights. Through the lawsuits against Jiang, people worldwide will learn the evil nature of Jiang and thus make the trial into reality."

Ms. Cui Zhang, who was just rescued to the U.S. one month ago, participated in the "Global Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice" group. She said: "I have such a special joy to participate in this grand parade in this land of the free. In China, I saw overseas practitioners' grand parades on VCDs. The 'Global Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice' group is the one which I want to join the most, and it is so good that my dream has come true today."

Ms. Zhang was arrested on two occasions for refusing to give up her belief in Falun Dafa and conducting appeals for Falun Dafa. Her home was ransacked by police, who also confiscated her passport. She said: "Though I was arrested and tortured, my situation was better than other fellow practitioners because my story was exposed oversea and the authorities were thus constrained. The overseas lawsuit against Jiang can play the same role, as many followers of Jiang fear the same thing would happen to themselves."

"All Chinese in China in general abhor Jiang very much and feel that Jiang has brought huge damage to the nation and the public. When we clarified the truth to the people, we always told them first that Jiang had been sued overseas. People were delighted by the news. Some exclaimed at it, and some asked for more materials, promising to distribute them for us. They said that bringing Jiang to justice was a great thing and they would distribute materials of this kind, even if they got arrested," Ms. Zhang said, "Fellow practitioners in Mainland were all delighted when they heard the news that overseas practitioners had launched lawsuits against Jiang. "Global Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice" is the heart-felt wish of all mainland practitioners. We hope that one day we can try Jiang Zemin publicly in China!"

Today, the legal actions against Jiang are developing quickly. The U.S. lawsuit against Jiang was submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court on February 7. On the day following the San Francisco grand parade, the NSW's Supreme Court held its second hearing on the Australian lawsuit against Jiang. Though the two defendants (Jiang and the notorious 610 Office) didn't appear in the court, the cases received considerable attention from Australian media and legal circles.

Mr. Liu stated: No matter where Jiang and his followers go, Falun Gong practitioners will go after them to bring them to justice!
