Germany: Exposing the Torture and Persecution at an Information Day in Erlangen

At the end of October 2004, Germany welcomed another Falun Dafa Information Day. Practitioners from Erlangen and neighboring cities demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and held an anti-torture exhibition, where they re-enacted how China’s prison guards torture people who believe in living by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance.

People expressed concern after hearing about the persecution	A little girl learned the exercises

After seeing the shocking photos of the persecuted practitioners, many people took the initiative to sign a petition that called for the chief persecutor Jiang Zemin to be held responsible and brought to justice in a court of law. The sight of a female Falun Gong practitioner locked in a cage, a common mistreatment inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners who are illegally imprisoned in China, caused several elderly people to exclaim, “Immediately free the girl in the cage. I can not allow myself to witness her suffering!”

Several Chinese kids passed by. They were extremely surprised to see one Chinese girl being locked in a cage and they raised many questions about the torture. Two German kids also approached us and one of the Chinese kid showed them the photos of the persecuted practitioners and told them about the human rights abuses happening in China.
