On the float, four Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and two practitioners performed a fan dance to the music "Pu Du," winning rounds of applause and cheers. Many people took photos of them. Some people simulated the exercise movements while watching practitioners demonstrating the exercises. People were in a festive mood, and many took the initiative to request materials that introduce Falun Dafa while watching the parade.

Prior to the parade, Colorado State Representative Frank Weddig's float was behind Falun Dafa practitioners' float. He had a warm conversation with practitioners and had a photo taken with them. During the parade, Colorado Congressman Bob Beauprez's float was just ahead of the practitioners' float. After the parade, he also talked with and had a photo taken with practitioners.
