On July the 18th 2004, practitioners from Finland, Denmark and Sweden gathered in Helsinki, the capital of Finland, to hold activities that included a press conference, anti-torture exhibition, picture exhibition and a petition signature collection to commemorate the peaceful appeal against persecution that Falun Gong practitioners have staged for the past five years, and also to expose the torture and harassment that Falun Gong practitioners are subjected to in China.

The activities attracted the attention of many people and the torture exhibition appeared to shock the whole capital of Finland. People never expected that this degree of torture was still being employed in China to eradicate people’s belief in Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. When kind-hearted Finnish people learned the truth, all condemned this persecution.
