Australia: Local Community Welcomes Falun Gong to Its National Day Parade

January 26 is the National Day of Australia. Falun Gong practitioners in South Australia area participated in the annual National Day parade. During the parade, some practitioners demonstrated Falun Gong exercises while others displayed traditional Chinese attire. The local community thoroughly enjoyed the parade. Afterwareds, many reporters interviewed the practitioners.

Falun Gong is an ancient Chinese practice of mind and body based on the universal principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." Falun Gong began in China and is now freely practiced in more than 60 countries by more than 100 million people. In July 1999, out of personal jealousy, Jiang Zemin banned Falun Gong in China and started to brutally persecute Falun Gong practitioners. To date, the brutal persecution has resulted in more than 870 deaths.
