United States: Falun Gong Practitioners Hold Candlelight Vigil to Support Lawsuit against Jiang Zemin

On January 20, 2004, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit accepted the appeals of Falun Gong practitioners on the lawsuit against Jiang Zemin (for more information go Here.

In the evening, Los Angeles practitioners held a candlelight vigil in front of the Chinese Consulate and sent forth righteous thoughts to support the lawsuit against Jiang.

The Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong over the last four years has resulted in the documented deaths of more than 860 Falun Gong practitioners. On December 30, 2003, Falun Gong practitioner Tang Meijun from Chongqing City was tortured to death in Maojiashan Labor Camp. Facing brutal persecution, Falun Gong practitioners have maintained their peaceful protest. They have filed lawsuits, charging Jiang Zemin with the crimes of torture, genocide, and crimes against humanity to bring him to justice for the persecution of Falun Gong.
