United States: Falun Gong Participates in Harrisburg Holiday Parade

The month before Christmas is America's holiday season. Every year, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania's capital, holds its annual holiday parade everything during this period. The Harrisburg Holiday Parade is the largest annual parade in Central Pennsylvania. Each year thousands of spectators visit downtown Harrisburg to watch the parade in person, and thousands more enjoy the parade on television. This year, the theme of the parade was "America--Rich In History And Holiday Traditions." Falun Gong practitioners participated in the parade that was held on November 22.

Among 81 parade entries, the Falun Gong group represented traditional Chinese culture that allowed Americans to appreciate the festivity, magnificence and benevolence Falun Gong has brought to the holiday season. Some people asked where they could learn the exercise upon hearing the introduction. The officials on the stage praised when they watched Falun Gong practitioners' performance, "Beautiful!" Spectators clapped their hands to the rhythm of music "Falun Dafa is Good."
