According to a reliable source, practitioner Mr. Li Yutong was illegally detained at the Yinmahe Labour Camp in Jiutai, Dehui City, Jilin Province. He died as a result of torture on November 6, 2003 and his body was immediately cremated the next day.

According to verified information, at least eight Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured to death at the Yinmahe Labour Camp.

Dafa practitioner Mr. Li Yutong lived in Biangang Village, Dehui City. Police abducted him while he was publicly clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa and sent him to the Yinmahe Labour Camp for two years of forced labour. Sources report that Li Yutong held a hunger strike at the labour camp to protest his detention, and was tortured until he was near death. On November 2, the Yinmahe Labour Camp officials notified Li Yutong's family to pick him up in order to abnegate their responsibility. When they arrived, Li's family became aware that he could no longer recognise people and his mouth was bruised from force-feeding. His family sent him to a hospital for emergency treatment. The doctor diagnosed kidney failure, and five days' emergency treatment failed to revive him. Li Yutong passed away at 1:30 p.m. on November 6, and his body was cremated on November 7, 2003.

Mr. Li Rongxian was a 44-year-old Falun Gong practitioner in Huadian City, Jilin Province. In 2002 he was abducted from home and sent to forced labour. On May 26, 2003, he was tortured to death at Yinmahe Labour Camp.

Mr. Jiang Laiyou was a 49-year-old Falun Gong practitioner in Jiaohe City, Jilin Province. On April 30, 2003 he was tortured to the brink of death at Yinmahe Labour Camp, and medical procedures failed to revive him. His wife, Falun Gong practitioner Xie Hua was at that time detained at the Heizuizi Labour Camp. The labour camp authorities refused to let her see her husband for the last time.

Mr. Wang Hongtian was a Falun Gong practitioner in Dehui City, Jilin Province, who was barbarically tortured at Yinmahe Labour Camp. The labour camp authorities notified his family to take him home when he was near death. He passed away two days after he was "released" on September 20, 2002. His wife was at that time detained at Heizuizi Labour Camp in Changchun City, also for practising Falun Gong. His two children are living with their grandmothers.

Mr. Sun Shizhong was a Falun Gong practitioner in Songyuan City, Jilin Province. He was detained at the Jiutai City Labour Camp. In March and April of 2002, guard Gao Ke ordered inmates Liu Wenli, Liu Xianzhong, Lu Chunhai, Zhang Zuohai, Xue Quan, Hui Shouyi and others to beat Sun Shizhong until he died. Afterwards, the inmates became the scapegoats. Guard Gao Ke was transferred to another work unit and was not held responsible for this murder.

A Falun Gong practitioner whose name is unknown was beaten to death on April 19, 2002, three days after he was arrested.

Mr. Xiao Jinsong was a Falun Gong practitioner in Jilin City, Jilin Province. In early October 2000 he went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. He was subsequently sent to the Yinmahe Labour Camp, where he endured diabolic tortures. On January 8, 2002, the labour camp officials sent Xiao Jinsong, who was barely alive, to a hospital in Changchun City. When Xiao's wife arrived at the hospital, Xiao was in a coma. His eye sockets were sunken, he was skins and bones, his stomach was severely distended and his thighs showed signs of severe oedema. Xiao Jinsong passed away on February 24, 2002.

Mr. Sun Shiwen was a Falun Gong practitioner in Chengzijie Town, Jiutai City, Jilin Province. On December 14, 2000 he was illegally sent to the Jiutai City Labour Camp. Fifteen days later, on January 8, 2001, he was unmercifully beaten to death at the labour camp. The back of Mr. Sun's head shows a gaping hole, and the left side of his head has a swelling. Blood was also found in his nostrils. His wife was still being detained at a labour camp at the time of his death.
