Horrific Wounds Inflicted on Dafa Practitioner Ms. Dong Mei in Longshan Labour Camp

I went to Beijing to appeal for justice for Falun Dafa in 2000. I was arrested and sentenced to two years of forced labour in Longshan Labour Camp.

In 2001, Dafa practitioner Ms. Dong Mei was placed in my cell. She was transferred from team two to team one, where I was imprisoned. Here is my witness account of her persecution:

Her anklebone was exposed to the air - no skin or flesh covered it any longer, which was a horrific sight! Her feet were wrapped with cloth. She told me that was because guards had directed a collaborator [former practitioner who has given up Dafa cultivation under pressure] to drag her back and forth over the cement floor when she refused to give up her belief in Dafa.

When Dong Mei had first been placed in the labour camp, the guards deprived her of sleep 24 hours a day for weeks on end. After half a month, she adamantly refused to be so-called "transformed" and the guards intensified their abuse.

They began slandering Teacher Li and beating her. They pulled her hair so hard that bunches came out with blood and skin attached. They made her squat in a painful position for hours on end.

Later, when she still refused to succumb to the pressure, the guards ordered a collaborator to drag her back and forth over the cement floor without foot protection. Her anklebone was rubbed raw. The skin did not grow back even after six weeks.

After four months of torture, she had become very thin. Because Dong Mei did not give in, her faith was a source of great inspiration for many other practitioners. The police had no more "tricks" so they transferred her to team one. Due to her persistence in cultivating Dafa, Longshan Labour Camp refused to let her go home even after her term had expired. Under the order of the "610 Office," they added three more months to her term.
