Falun Gong practitioners have been appealing outside the Chinese Embassy in London for almost 500 days. They call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners that is being carried out by the Jiang regime.

In a report made by the Central News Agency in London on the 7th of October, the practitioners’ appeal, which has about twenty practitioners participating overall, had entered its’ 491st day. With regards to the appeal, one practitioner said, “This protest will continue until the authorities in Beijing have stopped persecuting Falun Gong practitioners.”

The protest takes place on the footpath opposite the Chinese Embassy. The names and pictures of practitioners who have been persecuted to death are displayed on a large board.

Falun Gong practitioners hand out leaflets to passers-by that contain details of the lawsuit against Jiang for his crimes in the persecution of Falun Gong. To date, more than 1600 practitioners have been persecuted to death. There are still 6000 Falun Gong practitioners illegally imprisoned, with hundreds of thousands of practitioners being detained in forced labour camps and thousands of practitioners being tortured in mental hospitals. The flyer that practitioners were handing out called for righteousness, and to bring Jiang to justice for the crimes he has committed.
