Overcoming Great Tribulations, Striding Towards Brilliance

July 20 of four years ago is a day we will never forget. On that day, the evil Chinese government started its brutal and bloody persecution against Falun Gong. The dark clouds were overwhelming when the storm came. On that day, Dafa disciples across North America came to Washington DC. They gathered in front of the Chinese Embassy and on the grass in front of Capitol Hill. They stood shoulder to shoulder under the shining sun. Through tranquil music and demonstrating the five sets of peaceful exercises, Dafa disciples informed the world of the overwhelming frame-up and evil suppression against Falun Gong in China. At the same time, they expressed to Master Li their unshaken belief and perseverance in practising Falun Dafa when the time was so difficult. With the stride being taken, many of the practitioners felt as though they had gone through a test of life and death. Right at that moment, we realized everything of us from then on would belong to Dafa. No matter how difficult the situations may get, our lives are associated with Dafa and Master Li.

At that moment, our lives were endowed with brand new meanings. Year after year, we met together in Washington DC. We evolved from a cultivation group barely known being under persecution, into a group well known to the general public today. We have walked through the great tribulation. In the process of validating the Fa, the faithfulness and steadfastness in resisting the persecution by the evil regime, the consistent courage and strength drawn from enormous compassion and forbearance are undoubtedly the most precious wealth of this era.

Four years have passed. This has been the fifth gathering of Dafa disciples at Washington DC to clarify the facts. Nowadays, Falun Dafa is being spread in more than 60 countries and areas around the world. Dafa disciples are exhibiting the magnificence of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” to the world. Through Dafa disciples, the general public has realized Falun Gong is the hope of China, the world and human beings. Falun Gong represents the true traditional values and culture of China.

In the cultivation process during Fa-rectification, we are striding towards maturity and brilliance.
