In May 2000, I was illegally arrested at home by police and delivered to a Detention Centre just because I practise Falun Gong. Police ransacked my home and took away my copy of "Zhuan Falun" [the main text of Falun Dafa] and some photos. They also confiscated our ID cards and my 12 year old daughter was left at home alone with no one to take care of her. My husband was detained for 18 days and I was detained for 30 days and the police extorted 80 Yuan [Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan] from us for the so-called cost of living.

In June 2000, I went to Beijing and opened a banner on Tiananmen Square that said: "Falun Dafa Is Great!" Police sent me to the Qianmen Police Station where they slapped my face, pressed me to the ground and trampled on me. Other practitioners were kicked and stepped on too. That night we were sent to a courtyard where we were forced to sit in the open air for two days and nights and were exposed to the sun during the daytime. There, I witnessed many practitioners being hit and kicked. Later on, I was delivered to the Xichen Detention Centre. In the detention centre, I was forced to take off all my clothes and was frisked, force fed as a form of torture, threatened and had 120 Yuan extorted from me under the guise of a "quilt fee." Four days later, I was escorted to our province's Beijing Office. There, over 20 people were confined in a small room, which was less than 10 square meters and had no windows. It didn't matter whether we were male or female, old or young; all of us were forced to sit on the ground for 2 days and nights. The temperature was as high as 42oC [~107oF]. Also, we were forced to stand for twelve hours facing the wall under the burning sun, without moving, using the toilet or drinking water. We were forced to take off all our clothes and were frisked. Police kicked and abused us if they didn't find any money. My last 28 Yuan was taken away. Then I was sent back to my city where I was slapped and extorted out of another 360 Yuan as a transportation fee. I was detained in the city's Detention Centre, but was released after I refused to eat or drink for 11 days. While I was there, the supervisor beat me up, cuffed my hands behind my back and hung me up to expose me to the weather for 6 days and nights. I slept on the ground at night. I was extorted out of 240 Yuan as a "cost of living".

In September 2000, when walking on the road, I was kidnapped and brought to the city's Detention Centre. They released me 11 days later because I refused to eat or drink anything. While I was there I was abused and slapped. Police hit my face with a strap and frisked me.

In September 2000, police went to my daughter's school to threaten her. Police asked her principal and teachers to force her to give up Falun Gong, otherwise she wouldn't be allowed to go to school. The principle didn't co-operate with the police because my daughter is considered to be a good student.

In December 2000, Zhang, head of Section 1 of City's Police Station, took police to my home and kidnapped me to Nanmusi Female Labour Camp, Zizhong City. In Team 5 of the labour camp, I was tied to a tree and beaten up until I passed out. My brain felt numb and I lost consciousness after my body began twitching. I was released in 2001 for treatment. After I returned home I began to read Teacher's articles again and my mind became clearer along with my body's physical condition improving.

On Nov 15, 2001, I opened a banner on Beijing's Tiananmen Square that said "Falun Gong Is Good!" I was arrested and sent to Qianmen Police Station. Police abused and cursed at me. Other practitioners were kicked and beaten. We were delivered to Dongchen District Detention Centre that night. I was jailed there for 5 days.

Police hit a senior female practitioner, who was over 60, with an electric baton. The supervisor told the doctor to shock me with a high voltage electric needle, which was extremely painful. After that, I couldn't stand. Later on I was transferred to another Detention Centre and not allowed to sleep for 2 days and 3 nights. Eight to nine people surrounded me, threatened me and abused me with dirty words. I was cuffed to a chair all night, then was forced to stand all the time and wasn't allowed to go to the toilet. The whole time there, I refused to eat or drink as a protest. Then I was released.

From 2000 to the present day, police often harass me at my home day and night. In 2001, they arrested my husband at midnight and sent him to the town's police station. In Dec 2001, Police ransacked my home. They took away all Dafa materials, video-tape and Teacher's articles.

Meanwhile, I was kidnapped and brought to Nanmusi Female Labour Camp. On the way to that camp, I was handcuffed although I had not eaten for 4 days. I wasn't released until Nov 2002.

In Team 9 of the labour camp, Captain Cao, Supervisor Hu, Headman Yang, and Secretary Lan often abused Teacher and practitioners with dirty words, and threatened practitioners. In order to brainwash practitioners, every day they forced practitioners to read newspapers or watch videos defaming Dafa. Practitioners were strictly monitored. Oftentimes, they were frisked without reason. They couldn't talk with each other. If they smiled at one another, guards would abuse and beat them up. Punishment included forcing practitioners to stand facing a wall, disallowing practitioners to sleep for long periods of time, confining practitioners in a small cell and forcing them to stand for 17-18 hours with eyes open, otherwise, practitioners would be kicked and hit.

In 2001, Mao Kun went on a hunger strike and was force-fed. A nurse named Ji ruthlessly and carelessly inserted a large pipe into Mao's throat, causing her to not be able to eat later on. Mao Kun was confined in a small cell, facing the wall twelve hours a day with hands and feet cuffed while being monitored all the time. She was released in July 2002.

I went on hunger strike and was also force-fed. The nurse named Ji carelessly shoved a big pipe into my throat causing me pain while breathing. Later they fed me by prying my teeth open with an iron plate. That caused my teeth to come loose. Four to five people pressed me on the ground and tore off a lot of my hair. Each day I was forced to half-squat against the wall for over a dozen hours. Another practitioner was confined in a small cell with her hands and feet cuffed to the iron door, was forbidden to go to the toilet, and often abused by Captain Cao and the other supervisors.

Captain Cao, Supervisor Hu and Captain Yang often abused me with dirty words, or hit my face with electric batons. When my body was shivering, they dragged me to the hospital to be force me to take injections and medication. For this, they charged me a lot of money. Often I was forced to half squat against a wall for over a dozen hours.

Captain Zhang Xiaofang and other supervisors from Team 7, often abused Teacher's name and practitioners with dirty words. They would strike practitioners with electric batons and beat them up, forcing them to squat against a wall until midnight. A dozen practitioners were forced to squat against a wall until 3 a.m. They weren't allowed to go to the washroom, to wash or take a shower.

Secretary Pan, Supervisors Wang and Zhang Xiaofan and other supervisors were forced to transform practitioners. They confined practitioners in a room, crossed their legs and tied them up with ropes. Then they would hit and beat practitioners, disallow them to sleep, and force them to half-squat against a wall all night with their eyes open. If practitioners closed their eyes, they were beaten and kicked. They were forced to write reports about their thoughts, forbidden to go to the toilet, wash or take showers.

In August 2000, the temperature was above 102 degrees. Zhang Xiaofan, Secretary Pan, Captain Qing, Wang Shan assigned drug addicts to drag practitioners along rough ground for a few days. Wu Houyu was dragged for over 10 days. To save energy, those drug addicts took turns dragging practitioners. A few drug addicts dragged one practitioner at a time, some dragged while others grabbed or pinched them in various wicked ways. Practitioners' clothes, shoes, skin and flesh were all destroyed. Each day they were forced to stand from 6 a.m. to midnight, sometimes even until 3 a.m. the next day. In the daytime they were left exposed to the sun, and not allowed to drink or go to the toilet.

A few former practitioners [who have stopped practising due to brainwashing and torture and now assist in the persecution of Dafa] trampled He Yumei on the ground. They forced her to bend her knees, and scrubbed her mouth with dirty towels. Her chin and neck turned purple from the scrubbing. She was forced to stand under the sun, not allowed to go to the toilet, and forced to stand against a wall until 3 a.m.

Yang Hualian, over 50, was beaten black and blue all over her body by 5 to 6 people from the "Civilian Committee". Her face was swollen. She was cuffed and bound by rope in a basement cell. Her crying could be heard all night. The next day, she was charged with beating police, so those supervisors on duty and drug addicts beat her with electric batons and kicked her. She was confined in a closed cell, to stand until 3 a.m., and not allowed to drink or go to the restroom. Two months later, they pressed her head in a water barrel in the toilet.

These facts are evidence against Jiang and his associates.
