While on a business trip to another city, a Falun Dafa practitioner decided to visit another practitioner's house. After he got into a taxi, he found out that his wallet had been stolen. This practitioner explained the situation to the driver, and he promised, upon reaching his destination, to pay for the fare with money borrowed from his fellow practitioner. This practitioner clarified the facts about Falun Gong to the driver during the ride. The taxi driver had a kind heart, and turned out to sympathise with Falun Gong practitioners and the persecution that they were subjected to. When they reached the home of the fellow practitioner, however, they found out no one was home. This practitioner not only could not pay up the taxi fare, but he did not even have money to go home. But the taxi driver did not charge him for the ride. Instead, he took out 20 Yuan and gave it to the practitioner. The practitioner was very touched, in part because the taxi driver might sometimes not make 20 Yuan in a day. The practitioner promised that he would pay the driver back. The driver said, however, "No need. I am very happy to be able to help you. You are all good people."

A few days later, this practitioner returned to this city with truth-clarifying materials. He found out where the taxi driver lived, and it just so happened that the driver was celebrating the birth of his child that day. There were many friends and family members at the taxi driver's place. The practitioner took out the truth-clarifying materials and distributed them. The taxi driver asked the practitioner to stay for dinner because everyone wanted to know more of the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. Before he left, the practitioner took out 50 Yuan to buy some Chinese health tonics for the new mother. The taxi driver and his wife would not accept the money. They knew that the practitioner had been subjected to horrific persecution in a forced labour camp, and they said that he and other practitioners needed the money more. This practitioner nonetheless still left them the money.

When the practitioner departed, the taxi driver's family and friends all wished him well and hoped that he would be back soon.
