Several hundred Falun Gong practitioners gathered at one of the busiest corners in Times Square, New York City, for a rally that included music, dramatic readings, and appeals from family members of practitioners persecuted in China.

The practitioners demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises for the crowds of tourists in busy Times Square.
Practitioners sang songs composed to expose the crimes of the Chinese leaders and call for an end to the persecution in China. The music could be heard for several blocks, and crowds stopped to listen, watch, and learn more.

The band consisted of two singers and guitar players, a bass player, and a drummer. Even the police were dancing along and tapping their fingers.

Several family members of practitioners persecuted in China told their stories and made appeals for their release.

At the same time as the rally, another group of practitioners gathered in New York City's Chinatown to clarify the truth about the persecution in China, and to demonstrate the Falun Dafa exercises.
