Practitioners in Western Countries Should Give Importance to Explaining the Facts to the Chinese people

I have noticed a phenomenon recently, some practitioners who just came from abroad and some who are abroad have a strong selectiveness when participating in Fa-rectification work. They like, and are only willing to do “exposure to the public” work and other prestigious work, such as to go on television, to be reporters, and to participate in literature and art performances. With regard to directly telling the truth to Chinese people, such as making phone calls to Chinese people in mainland China, sending faxes, mailing letters, chatting on the internet, distributing newspapers on Chinatown streets and going to Chinese consulate, they rarely take part. There is a trend that they’re only willing to do the jobs they hold in hand. Regarding telling the truth to the people around us, they don’t do it even if it is easy to obtain the opportunity. They look as though they are not concerned about the great events in Fa-rectification. When I exchanged my understandings with some of these fellow practitioners, I found quite a few fellow practitioners haven’t directly clarified the truth to Chinese people for a long time. Some of them are nervous when talking about telling the truth to Chinese people, and some of them even never tell the truth actively.

Take media as an example, media is the most effective approach for spreading information in this ordinary human society at present. The evil is employing the media to attack Dafa. In order to validate Dafa as well as suffocate the evil, Dafa disciples take advantage of every condition in ordinary human society and the skills we have in this lifetime to found our own media. The sound from our media really frightens the evil. Master has endowed the Dafa disciples with all kinds of everyday people’s skills. These everyday people’s “skills” are for today’s Fa-rectification, so let us use these conditions to save people as well as validate Dafa. No matter what work we take part in, we must first be Fa-rectification period Dafa disciples.

Every Dafa disciple’s time is indeed limited. Due to fellow practitioners having the pressure of time limits, it usually looks like we are short of time. In fact, it doesn’t mean to say that every fellow practitioner should participate in every Fa-rectification work, but this division of labour is not absolute. Especially the matter of “telling the truth to the Chinese people”, I personally think “telling the truth to the Chinese people” never exists as an independent matter. The matter of “telling the truth to the Chinese people” is not only the work for those fellow practitioners who are in the team of “telling the truth”. As long as we are Dafa disciples, telling the truth to the Chinese people is our unquestionable duty, so we must then take advantage of all chances to “lose no time and save them, hurry up and tell them”.(From Master Li’s poem - Hurry up and tell them)

In fact, for a Dafa disciple, if he is really too busy to have the time to clarify the truth, or has not been directly clarifying the facts for a long time, it is time to look inside himself. No matter how busy he is, he should have 5 minutes to make a phone call or send a fax everyday; or even spend one hour clarifying the truth on the Internet in a week, or spend two hours directly telling Chinese people the truth in Chinatown or at the Chinese consulate in a week. I think no matter how busy he is, he can still have this bit of time; it is just a question of how diligent he is.

Coming back to the point, directly telling the fact to people will never influence any work in our hands. Now matter whether we’re doing newspapers, TV programmes, broadcasting, or literary and artistic creations, there is one goal: validate Dafa and save people. Only by telling the facts more can we have better understandings of how to clarify the facts, how to untie the knots which block people’s understanding the Truth, and do better in every aspect.
