Respecting Master

Master gives his disciples so many things: The gong mechanisms to transform the body, the step by step guidance to very high levels, and the protection and purification so one can truly cultivate. Then looks after us with kindness and helps us up when we slip or fall.

How do we show respect to our Master?

Do the things we do in everyday society reflect our respect? When people see and talk to us we are truly a reflection of our Master and not only of our own levels. When we are careless of action and deeds then isn’t that disrespect? The way we dress, talk, and communicate...To slow down and calm our minds, show compassion in the worst situations and check our xinxing [heart nature]--would then be not only respectful of others but also showing respect to our Master.

This goes for other dimensions as well. No other being has done what our Master has done for us. No other being comes close. If we should see such a being or false reflection we must tell them we are well taken care of by our great Master and do not need them at all! That is respect.

When we honour our Master’s wishes and instructions to the best of our abilities isn’t that also being respectful?. Studying the Fa is one of his biggest wishes. Showing respect would be to do this the best we can with a calm clear mind above all else.

Our Master scooped us up from hell. Trusting him you would think should be the easiest thing to do. Yet how many of us trust him fully? When in terrible trouble or if things become really too much to handle do we truly ask for the Master or like he mentions do we cry out for the mommy [when encountering a troublesome situation, the word Chinese people call out is similar sounding to the Chinese word for mother]...or worse yet do say nothing and get consumed. If we really trust him its easy to ask for his help and guidance. On a personal note I can honestly say Master has never let me down. He’s always been there. In awful situations, in other dimensions it does not matter he has always come when I called.

Even with questions do we ask him or do we try to figure them out ourselves using our limited shallow knowledge? Try asking the Master - Again even the most profound questions, personal or otherwise, I ever asked were answered almost immediately by our Master.

Our Master does not need our respect...

It’s his deep compassion and concern for our safety and honour that he has mentioned this to protect us by awareness.

Looking inside we need to respect ourselves before we can respect anyone else.

At high levels there is no need for thank-you’s. Thank-you’s will never suffice...

Our Master gives us all of this and perhaps at consummation and will disappear from our hearts and minds with a simple smile - It’s hard not to be attached to saying good-bye or thank-you, but yet maybe respect is a much higher form of thank-you.

Please kindly correct any misunderstandings.
