Romania: Once Again, The Truth is Revealed to the World

The Jiang regime has increased the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners outside of Mainland China through using despicable methods. They made use of some workers from the Chinese Embassy to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in Romania. However, they not only failed to succeed in stopping the practitioners’ peaceful appeal and the spreading of Falun Dafa, but instead exposed the evilness of their persecution in front of the world’s people.

Artist and Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Cuiying was recently invited to tour dozens of countries to exhibit her paintings. Wherever Mrs. Zhang went, she was welcomed warmly by the local government, media and people. On March 29 2003, Mrs. Zhang, who follows the principles of “Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance,” was invited to Bucharest, the capital of Romania, and was preparing to hold an opening ceremony for her art exhibition at a city centre theatre on the evening of March 31 2003. However, before the opening ceremony, the two organizers of the art exhibition received a phone call from a man with surname Chen who was from the Romanian Chinese Embassy. He threatened them and demanded that the art exhibition be cancelled. At the same time, he pressured the relevant persons in charge of the theatre to not allow the art exhibition to take place.

Faced with this unreasonable harassment, Romanian Dafa practitioners and Mrs. Zhang prepared to hold a press conference instead of the opening ceremony, in order to expose the wicked deeds of the Chinese Embassy. As they were afraid that their illegal deeds would be exposed, the representatives at the Chinese embassy retreated a little and the relevant persons in charge of the theatre agreed to let the art exhibition take place as scheduled on March 31 2003.

On the morning of March 31, when the Dafa practitioners came to the exhibition hall to put up the paintings, they found some Chinese men leaving hurriedly. Two hours ahead of the opening ceremony, the representative from the Chinese Embassy and a few other Chinese men came to the exhibition hall. They rudely made a lot of noise and trouble, trying to stop the exhibition from taking place. One Dafa practitioner, who was getting ready to videotape the exhibition, at this moment pointed his video camera towards these people. When they found that their actions were being videotaped, they felt guilty and frightened, and tried to grab the video camera. The Romanian Dafa practitioners tried to protect the video camera while reasoning with the Embassy staff. At this time, the representative from the Chinese Embassy revealed his true violent self.

The truth will not be manipulated by the power in anyone’s hands. Romanian Dafa practitioners will hold a press conference this evening at 7 p.m. (April 1 2003) to show video footage of the Embassy staff's violent and illegal actions. Once again, the truth will be revealed to the world.
