A Story of Going Through Customs

While driving to Switzerland to take part in the activities held during the United Nations’ human rights conference, we were stopped on the border to present our passports to the policeman. The passports visa of one fellow practitioner was found to have expired. He was unable to go through Customs. We, nine practitioners, discussed this matter together and held the same view: It was a fault of everyday people that the fellow practitioner hadn’t gone to get a visa. Yet were going to Switzerland for the sake of Dafa and would not allow any interferences or obstructions. We decided to cross the border at another border check-point. While driving to the other Customs check-point, we found several fellow practitioners had abnormal carsickness. We began paying serious attention to these interferences. Nobody complained. We sent forth righteous thoughts and exchanged views, acting as one entity. We could even feel the strong solidarity of our team!

Once again we were asked to present our documents and I was told that there was a problem with my documents too. Handing back our documents to us, the German policeman said his Swiss colleague always handles official business accurately and fairly. If he said it was final, there was no need to waste our energy any more.

After exchanging views again, we still decided to go to see the policeman while all practitioners, beside the policeman or in the car, sent forth righteous thoughts for reinforcement. We clarified the truth to the policeman and told him why we wanted to go to Switzerland. He was moved in the end and agreed to handle the practitioner’s visa. Additionally, he found that there was no problem with my document at all. It was he who had made a mistake. We deeply felt the power of the collective as we entered Switzerland.

Back in Germany, I mentioned the events to a fellow practitioner who, after listening to me, said calmly. “Isn’t that to say the policeman need to know the truth!” At this moment I sensed there was a difference between her and me. From a different viewpoint, I found the case wasn’t so vicious as it was originally deemed to be. It was I who hadn’t done something well. At that moment I fundamentally took all unfavorable circumstances as interferences and eliminated iron-heartedly. In doing so I pushed the police officer to the opposite side. Thinking that his not playing a supporting role was an arrangement of old forces, I determined to destroy such arrangement without mercy. Indeed, fellow practitioners’ tianmu did see the interferences from demons at that moment, yet I didn’t consider the police officer’s interests, who was waiting to be told the truth and to be saved. What I had done was anything but kind.. He was eagerly looking forward to knowing the truth yet I was eager to go through Customs! When things went wrong, I didn’t even clearly realise that it was by way of our temporarily staying that we were able to clarify the truth to him.
