Czech Republic: Celebrating World Falun Dafa Day

May 13 marks World Falun Dafa Day each year, and this year was the 23rd anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction to the public. European Falun Dafa practitioners joined those from other continents to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day in 2015. The 16th annual World Falun Dafa Day was celebrated by practitioners in the Czech Republic on May 9, 2015.

Practitioners gathered on Prague's Old Town Square and held a group exercise practice, offered free teaching of the exercises, distributing flyers and hand-made paper lotus flowers and held a poster exhibit introducing the practice of Falun Dafa. The posters also exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Dafa including the forced live organ harvesting of persecuted practitioners. They collected signatures on a petition to call for an end to the persecution.

A family of three visiting from Beijing renounced their membership in the CCP and its affiliated organizations after listening to a practitioner explain why it was important to do so.

A young man from Changchun, Jilin Province, China listened to a practitioner's introduction to Falun Dafa. He said, “I know about Master Li and Falun Dafa as I live near his previous home in Jilin.” The practitioner asked him, “Have you quit the Party?” The young man quit the Young Pioneers using an alias.
