Frankfurt’s annual Cultural Festival was held on June 28, 2014. Of the participants that represented diverse cultures, Falun Gong attracted much attention and was viewed one of the best.
After seeing the Divine Land Marching Band and the exercise demonstration in the festival parade, many Chinese people woke up from the influence of years of Chinese Communist Party (CCP) hate propaganda and became supportive.
Chinese Immigrant: “I Support Falun Gong”
One Chinese immigrant has lived in Germany for more than 20 years. He videotaped the entire Falun Gong procession in the parade and told a Minghui correspondent, “I have watched you group in the parade for over 10 years, and I like it very much. I know Falun Gong is popular in the US, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, and I also have some practitioner friends. I support Falun Gong and hope the persecution ends soon.”
A well-dressed lady, also from China, was excited to the see the Falun Gong entry, too. She took many pictures and said, “I love your procession. Falun Gong is great.”
One Chinese student seemed a little surprised. “I heard Falun Gong was banned back in China, but I do not really know what Falun Gong is.” She was impressed by so many practitioners in the parade, especially the non-Asian faces. She accepted a pamphlet and said she would find more information on the Internet.
Positive Reactions from Chinese Tourists
A group of five Chinese tourists were glad to see practitioners. They got up close to the parade and took many pictures of the Falun Gong portion of the parade. After learning about the bad deeds the CCP has committed, two of them announced their resignations from the Youth League and the Young Pioneers, two CCP organizations.
A group of four Chinese men hardly said a word and just took lots of pictures. From 12:30 till 3:30, they videotaped all the parade groups, including the Falun Gong procession. When a Minghui correspondent asked how they felt about it, one of them replied, “This [Falun Gong entry] is amazing!”
