On Saturday, March 15, 2003, Colorado Dafa practitioners participated in the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Denver. Nearly 250 organisations and groups participated in this grand parade, and about 30,000 people watched it.

The weather was especially fine. In early morning, practitioners from different places came to the parade site to make preparations. Some blew up balloons, some decorated floats, some folded flyers, and some handed out materials to passers-by and gave a brief introduction to the five sets of the exercises.

There were two lotus flower stages on the float. At the end of the float there was a banner bearing the words, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" and "Falun Dafa is good." During the parade, two Eastern practitioners and two Western practitioners demonstrated the exercises on the float. Two Eastern and Western female practitioners sat respectively on each of the lotus flower stages to do sitting meditation. It was so elegant and appealing that some tourists, including children, carefully imitated the practitioners' movements. Some people gave us the thumbs-up, and some waved greetings.

There were more practitioners participating in this parade compared with previous years. Everyone could take the initiative to step forward to clarify the truth and demonstrate the goodness of Dafa to the public. Seeing more people know Falun Dafa and the truth about persecution, we all felt that what we had done was worthwhile.
