Elderly Ms. Li Xiaojing Died Just Months after Release from Prison

Ms. Li Xiaojing passed away recently, just three months after being released from prison on a medical parole. She was diagnosed with throat cancer as a result of torture in the Xinxiang Women's Prison in Henan Province. She died at the age of 69.

She was arrested on September 8th, 2012, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was held at the Kaifeng Detention Centre before being sentenced to three years in prison on June 5th, 2013.

Xinxiang Women's Prison has caused the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners. The Minghui website has collected five confirmed cases prior to Ms. Li's.
