The 35th annual Santa Claus Parade in Mississauga, Canada, was held in the village of Streetsville on November 25th. Thousands of people gathered to watch it. The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of Falun Gong practitioners from Toronto, performed in the parade. The organisers of the parade invited them to come again next year.

More than 65 groups participated in the parade. The Divine Land Marching Band was the only Chinese group

Many Chinese people came to watch the parade. Ms. Zhang and her husband moved to Mississauga from Fujian, China two years ago. She said: “The parade is fun. I saw Falun Gong on TV before, but this is my first time seeing them perform live. They have done a great job.”

The Divine Land Marching Band has participated in many community events and has been warmly welcomed by the Canadian public. Ms. Li, a local citizen, said: “I've seen them in all kinds of events. Their costumes are colourful, and their music is energetic and beautiful too.”
