It is not a crime to care for others,
It is not wrong to be free.
Free from the burdens of pursuit and greed,
Rising high above this confused sea.

They want to ruin your name,
To make themselves look good.
This is a most inexcusable shame,
It is clear their hearts no longer remain.

We will not step back,
Your hardship is ours.
One pure body is under attack,
Together we can make things right.

Continue to be kind,
Compassion will cure their poisoned minds.
Enduring all, a bright village in sight,
Freedom lies ahead.

Stay strong, Charles Li,
Our righteous thoughts are with you.
Clear your mind and your heart,
The righteous thoughts are within you.
