United States: Introducing Falun Gong at the California State Fair

The annual California State Fair was held from August 14th to September 7th in Sacramento. Local Falun Gong practitioners had a booth at the fair every weekend, introducing Falun Gong and exposing the brutal persecution in China.

Many of the visitors had heard about Falun Gong. Some of them learned the exercises. The practitioners made a lot of paper lotus flowers, which were very popular with the fairgoers. One gentleman said that he would hang the flower in his car and read the words, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" on it every day, because the world needs this principle.

Hundreds of thousand of people came to the fair despite the bad economy. Many people learned about Falun Gong at the fair.
